Account opening

  • What documents are needed for proof of identity?

    To prove your identity, you will need a photo ID and a document that proves your address.

    Please register the following documents from the member page.

    -Driver’s license
    -Passport
    -My Number card (notification card not accepted)


    -Public utility invoice
    -Credit card company or mobile phone company invoice
    -Unexpired National Public Health Insurance card
    -Others [documents that list the registrant’s name and address]
    *The document must be different than the one submitted as a photo ID.

  • How long will it take to open an account?

    It will take around 5 minutes to open an account for trading with WL.

  • Is it possible to open a corporate account?

    We are not accepting applications for new corporate accounts.

  • Is it possible to withdraw part of the profit while holding the position?

    You cannot withdraw money while holding a position. If you are holding a position, please make sure to place a settlement order and make sure that you do not hold a position before requesting withdrawal.

  • Please tell me the flow after opening an account.

    The flow after opening an account is as follows.

    ① Enable Transaction Account
    After opening an account, log in to My Page from the URL in the email sent automatically.
    Please activate your account.

    ② Download MT4
    Install MT4 on your PC or smartphone.
    *The download URL is listed in the email at the time of account opening.

    ③ Login to MT4
    Please log in based on the login information in the email at the time of registration.

    ④ Payment
    Please log in to my page and deposit the funds for the transaction from the deposit page.

    Once the above is completed, we can start the transaction.

  • Is the account opening fee free?

    WL does not charge account opening and account maintenance fees.

  • Can I open an account even if I live abroad?

    You can open an account even if you live abroad. (There are some countries and regions where you cannot open an account.)

  • What kind of email address should I register?

    Please register using an email address (Google, Yahoo, etc.) that can be used to receive emails on a PC other than a carrier’s email address.

  • Can I have multiple accounts?

    Each WL customer can have up to 10 accounts in the same account.

Deposits and withdrawals

  • How do I deposit funds?

    1. Log in to the member page.
    2. Go to the deposit procedures page from the “Deposits and Withdrawals” page.
    3. A designated deposit account will be displayed, so deposit your desired amount into that account.

    The balance will be reflected on MT4 when the remittance is confirmed.
    If the balance is not reflected after 3 business days, please contact our customer support.

  • How do I withdraw funds?

    1. Log in to the member page.
    2. Go to the withdrawal procedures page from the “Deposits and Withdrawals” page.
    3.Register the bank account information to which the withdrawal will be remitted.

    Confirm the withdrawal information. If there are no issues, then the withdrawal process will be completed within 5 business days, in principle.
    If the withdrawal is not reflected after 5 business days, please contact our customer support.

  • How much is the withdrawal fee when withdrawing to a bank account?

    The fee for withdrawing funds from your balance is 2% of the amount that is being withdrawn.

  • What is the minimum deposit?

    The minimum deposit is 500 yen (or $5).

  • Where can I confirm the receipt of money?

    In your My Page or in the MT4 Terminal window on the “Transaction” tab
    You can check it.

  • Can I register multiple bank accounts for withdrawals and receipts?

    You can register 1 bank account to withdraw money. Please be sure to register your bank account in your name.

  • Does the withdrawal fee change according to the amount of withdrawal?

    The withdrawal fee is 2% regardless of the amount.

  • Is there a limit to the number of withdrawals per year or month?

    There is no limit on the number of withdrawals.

  • Minimum amount of deposits and withdrawals

    The minimum deposit amount is 500 yen, but for deposits of less than 10,000 yen, the amount after deducting the 500 yen handling charge is reflected.
    Regarding the minimum amount to be withdrawn, please note that applications for withdrawal from 500 yen to less than 500 yen will be cancelled.

  • I made a deposit today, but has it been reflected yet?

    In principle, the funds will be reflected in your account within three business days after the receipt of the payment.
    If the account number is not entered in the account holder column at the time of transfer, it may take time to reflect the payment.

Transactions

  • What is the maximum transaction amount for each order?

    The maximum transaction amount for each order (1 ticket) is 50 lots.

  • Can I hold opposing positions at the same time?

    You can do this within the same account, but you may not do it across several accounts.

  • Is it possible to lose more than what I deposited?

    If your balance is negative, we will use negative balance protection so that you will not lose more than what you deposited.

  • Can you build a double house?

    It is prohibited to build both houses. You are not allowed to use the same account. Please note that we will respond in accordance with the our company regulations if both houses are found.

  • Is there a leverage limit?

    999 x (Cash balance up to 25,000 USD or 2.5 million JPY)
    200 x (When the cash balance exceeds 25,000 USD or 2.5 million JPY)
    *If you have more than one account, the total cash balance of the accounts is used as the basis.
    *Please note that if the cash balance exceeds the threshold, the immediate leverage will be switched.

Change registration information

  • Can I change my password?

    You can make changes from your own My Page.

  • Can I change my email address?

    You can make changes from your own My Page.

  • Is it possible to change my login ID?

    Login ID cannot be changed.

Bonus

  • What is an account opening bonus?

    An account opening bonus is a bonus equivalent to 5000 yen that is automatically granted on the next business day after an account is opened.
    Also, you cannot withdraw the bonus itself.

Affiliate

  • What are the targets of affiliate fees (IB Compensation)?

    Affiliate compensation (IB Compensation) is calculated by multiplying the standard affiliate basis ($xx/Lot) by the cash ratio of the effective margin.

    The cash ratio of the effective margin is calculated automatically based on the following formula.

    Cash ratio of effective margin (%) = Cash/(Cash + Bonus) × 100

  • I want to register IB.

    Could you open an account with our company and send us your account number? After that, I will register IB and contact you with the URL for the affiliate.

    If your account is not properly linked to your affiliate, please contact our company with the account number you wish to link to.
    Transactions without an associated account will not be eligible for IB fees, so please be sure to confirm this prior to transactions.
